The issue that this study addresses is the lack of learning motivation of students in both traditional and online classes. To address this problem, the purpose of this study will be exploring how to implement gamification into economics lessons and how it would improve the students ' final exam results. To gather data, interviews with two economics teachers were conducted, and a survey was carried out with a group of students to get their insight about the subject of economics. This data leads to the following 3 inspirations for the project: learn from history, learn by doing, and learn through play. These themes will be useful for developing the game concept which helps boost students ' motivation to learn about economics and helps students remember better.
