tevredenheidsonderzoek naar de werking van vormen van transfer binnen psychomotorische therapie bij mensen met een licht verstandelijke beperkingSamenvatting
Transfer is an important factor within psychomotor therapy. Each psychomotor therapist will search for ways in which new behavior can be generalized within the daily life of a client. This investigative report describes a practical investigation in regards to satisfaction about the functionality of the different forms of transfer within psychomotor therapy for persons with a slight intellectual disability. For them it is hard to make the transfer. This is due to limitations in working memory, insight, summarization as well as the inability to think abstractly. In this report further explanations are provided on this target group as well as on transfer within psychomotor
therapy. Different forms of transfer have been identified and put together. About these different forms of transfers psychomotor therapists have fi lled out a questionnaire in respect to the degree of satisfaction.
As a result of this it appears that just about all the different forms of transfer are considered to be satisfactorily. Forms that scored well are: discussion form with the system, use of practical examples,
practical support, system which participates with the therapy, parallel processes and role-play. These are
transfer forms where the system takes an important place around the client and which includes situations out of daily life within the therapy. Suitability to the capabilities of the client is always a requirement.
