Terrain referenced navigation using a GPS approach
Samenvatting
In this article a GPS inspired approach has been developed for TRN systems. The authors investigated whether the acquisition and tracking GPS concept has the potential to be applied in the TRN field with good results. The performance of the proposed system is analyzed using MATLAB simulations.The results obtained so far have not confirmed this assumption. Good estimates of the velocity and course of the vehicle are obtained.
