Samenvatting

This article focuses on Command and Control and the role of information from a military perspective. The author first address the meaning and content of command and control. Next he reflects upon developments over time in order to discover how change and continuity influenced both command and control and the search for information. He then discusses the meaning of cyberspace in relation to his topic, analyzing the role of information as a means, target and weapon. He rounds off with some final observations.
