This plan will give insight in how to increase the amount of leads coming from the KHZ website. Nowadays online is growing bigger each day. That’s why it is important to have a proper online strategy. To answer this question desk- and fieldresearch was conducted. The research focused on multiple online channels. And also includes a customer journey which combines the online with offline aspects. The results are from 11 qualitative surveys and 6 usablity tests. These results show that there is room for improvement. The website can be optimized. Instead of having multiple pages about almost the same subject , create one with all info and proper links to other pages. Instead of widen the funnel make it smaller. At this moment visitors have to search the site and end up in circles seeing the same information over and over. The respondents also mentioned that the quotation could be improved by using less questions and explain some questions better. This could be done by adding question marks with relevant explanation. By using the same width of each field the quotation will have a better visual appeal and it’s also easier to fill in Other subjects that were researched are SEO, SEA, Social media. While there is not much interest in social media there is still a part that comes to the KHZ website by using social media. It’s important to write about multiple subjects to help the customer before, during and after the move. These posts will also be placed on the website, if these pages rank it will lead to new traffic. KHZ only ranks on a few keywords. There are still a lot of pages that don’t rank. The content is there, they just don’t show in Google. This can be improved by on page SEO, optimizing the website and by linkbuilding. The other option to compensate the lack of appearance in Google is to advertise on Google. Research shows that people who click on advertisements are more likely to buy. Another benefit from advertising is that you can target really specific and have a lot of data insight to improve your return on investment. There are currently 45 quotation requests on average per month on the KHZ website. Goal is to increase this to 50 by implementation of the recommendations.
