What role for the internationally minded SME's? : Analyzing the competences of ‘internationals’ in SMEs
Samenvatting
In April 2005, the report titled ‘Internationals for SMEs’ was published (Braaksma 2005). The authors aim to focus on the ‘international’ in Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SME), by giving an account of the professional profile of the more highly educated for international positions in SMEs. The definition of an ‘international’ is a graduate with an international education from higher professional educational institute who aims for an international position at a Small or Medium sized company. An ‘international’ employed in a small company is a colourful person: a “jack-of-all-trades”.
