Samenvatting

Orcion wanted to build an Enterprise Content Management System (ECMS) as a web application that one day can compete with other CMS like SharePoint or Sitecore CMS. This project was started to build the Document Management System (DMS) part of the complete ECMS. It allows users to map existing folder structures and their contents, which can then be managed through the application. Users can open and edit MS Office documents inside the folders online without the need to download it first using WebDAV, an ability which was also integrated to other web applications Orcion develops. Most structural changes can be set to be applied directly to underflying structure or only in the application.
