New attitudes is about the new role of the designer with respect to (re) programming and (re) development. Architecture, architects must now adopt ‘a sober-minded, enterprising, inventive and self-critical attitude in redefining [their positions] within the design field and within a social and physical reality undergoing transformation.’ In a clear, cleanly designed format, this book presents a series of reflections to give various perspectives on this reorientation and change of attitude which has occurred within the profession in recent years, after the crisis of 2008.
