Samenvatting

This documentation covers a feasability study on Computer Vision to register Data Matrix Codes using Machine learning. The documentation covers the topics of selecting the components of the system, the type of training data needed to train an Object Detection Model using Machine Learning, and the processes that were carried out to increase the efficiency and robustness of the algorithm. By the end of the documentation the feasability study shows that such a system reduces the registration time of Data Matrix codes significantly while removing labor intensive and repetative tasks by introducing automation. The system also removes pain points employees faced while using the previous registration process.
