The study was aimed at comparing and assessing consumer perception of three categories of yoghurt products sold in Tema, thus category A; locally produced yoghurt with local ingredients, category B; locally produced yoghurt with imported ingredients and category C; imported yoghurt. The study was analysing consumer perception on health benefit, factors influencing consumers’ choice of yoghurt products, benchmarking the three yoghurt products, consumers’ expectations and recommended market penetration for Dairy Farmers and Processors Association of Ghana.
