Samenvatting

This research thesis investigates the ways in which learning differs between female and male students in the form of a case study. Various teaching methods that are used in co-ed classroom environments have been further analyzed in gender-segregated classrooms to beneficially discover teaching methods that work best with female or male students.The result of the research is that there is support for the idea that male and female students who learn differently, would benefit from being taught using different teaching methods. Some of these methods do work towards both genders but need to be modified to fit into the classroom dynamic, which differs between every class.
