The ultimate ambition of Pieter Pot is to make circular grocery packaging the standard quo in Europe. They want to establish Pieter Pot as an authority and expert in waste-free groceries. The first milestone in achieving this mission is to break even at 50.000 monthly orders.
One of Pieter Pot's obstacles and even more so when expanding internationally is a language barrier. Currently, the social media channels, the website and any other point of contact are in Dutch. Pieter Pot’s intends to expand further to Germany and other European countries, there is an urgency to decide on a language strategy for the social media channels. Therefore, the problem statements are as follows;
• What hurdles do the non-Dutch speaking (potential) community members face being part of the Pieter Pot online social media channels?
• What type of solution(s) would remove these non-Dutch speaking community members' strains while also being scalable for future international expansions?
