Processpatching: connecting creative R&D
Processpatching: connecting creative R&D
Samenvatting
In this lecture Nigten talks about processpatching where a range of methods and approaches are loosly combined. This approach is well known from art and design practice and is a key concept in Nigten's ideas about the role of artists and designers can play as agents of change in trans- and interdisciplinary collaborations. Nigten refers to 20th century performance art and media art for examples about interactivity and co-creation as well as her own practice, The Patching Zone in Rotterdam and the PSI research group that she leads in Groningen, both in the Netherlands. This lecture is part of the European Live Transmission project with Blast Theory (UK), OCAD U (CA), Translocal (FI) and The Patching Zone (NL).
