Samenvatting

People with disabilities in Myanmar face various types of barriers to visit or work at marketplaces. Therefore, the aim of this thesis is to develop two tools: the concept flashcards and a video script. These tools can guide market committees and municipals in what kind of adaptations they can implement to make their marketplace more accessible for people with disabilities. The main question of this thesis is: ‘How can the tools (flashcards and video script) support TLMM and stakeholders in the development of an inclusive marketplace at Bogyoke Aung San Market in Hpa Do City and the development of inclusive marketplaces in other locations?’
